Meet Candis Green

Whether or not I always knew it, I have been a witch my whole life.

I spent childhood summers locked away in the public library researching the origins of Halloween, witchcraft, and the trials that condemned those very witches. I was fascinated by a world beyond the veil, and it was here that I learned about the transformative power of reclaiming the parts of yourself that the world tried to burn.

Psychotherapy felt like a natural fit for a deeply spooky witch such as myself, as this is work that seeks to unveil and make sense of our deepest layers of self in a healing process that often feels like magic. And imagine my delight upon recognizing that tools like tarot and dream work are some of the most powerful in connecting with the deepest parts of our own souls.

When I’m not working, you can probably finding me haunting my local library, watching horror movies, helping small animals, or attending a really intense fitness class.

To learn what we fear is to learn who we are. Horror defies our boundaries and illuminates our souls.
- Shirley Jackson
